We can’t wait to meet you!
ROOTS is the youth ministry at Covenant Grove Church. We know that Middle School (MSM) and High School (HSM) can be tough. ROOTS is a place for students to escape the stresses of life, hang out, meet new friends (bffs for life), discover Christ in a whole new way, and have a bunch of fun. We are a group of students who are committed to Jesus Christ, having fun with one another, and supporting each other every step of the way.

ROOTS SMALL GROUP NIGHT OUT
Wednesday, Nov 29th // 7:00pm-8:45pm
Hey Middle School & High School youth! Our leaders are amazing and they are planning something special for each of you and your group…
Why!?!? because they care about you! They want you to have an amazing night filled with fun, laughter, friends, food, and yes fun! You mean so much to us and small group night out is one of the ways we show it. 🙂 It’s a great opportunity to connect with each other and your leaders. Each group will start and end at Covenant Grove.
Some of the groups will go off campus for the special night, (adult leaders will be driving only), so please bring a permission slip (get one on covenantgrove.org) and bring whatever it says on the front of the card.
If you need more information… Contact your small group leader
July 15th-20th //
CHIC began with a dream to gather Covenant people together to praise God, share in a rich time of fellowship and encourage each other in faith. CHIC is an incredible experience that comes once every three years. For five jam-packed days, we are privileged to hear from gifted speakers, sing praises to God (six thousand voices strong!), engage with the Word of God, and interact with others from around the world.
Where is CHIC // CHIC will be held at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, July 15–20, 2018. Thousands of students and adults from around North America and abroad will gather for a week of worship, interacting with God’s Word, learning experiences, service, new friendships, and fun. CHIC really is a life-changing event, and I want you to join us for it.
For More Info, check out the CHIC website at chicconference.org. *All registrations will be done through Covenant Grove Church*
What is the Cost of CHIC // For the actual event, CHIC costs approximately $600. (The exact cost is in flux until August.) In addition, there are transportation costs and excursion costs. The actual housing and food for a week on the campus of UT is $450. The other $150–$200 goes into programing—well-known bands, talented speakers, security, Base Camp experiences, etc.
CHIC is a huge investment as it costs $599 + airfare/transportation, so we have payment plans setup and fundraisers to help offset the costs.
$599 for CHIC + Transportation, Meals during Travel, and other Expenses.
The cost is not to exceed $1200.

We care about your students and want them to have the best experience while a part of the Teen Ministry at Covenant Grove. Covenant Grove has implemented policies that will safeguard our teenagers while promoting a positive, nurturing environment for ministry to them. One of those policies is a Medical Release form for every event we go on. Please fill this out prior to attending an event and have your student turn it in.
