LOOKING FOR MORE…
Throughout the year we have special events for youth at Covenant Grove, including overnights, service projects, camp and more.
Roots- Bonfire Night
This has been an amazing year in the life of the youth ministry. There is so much to give thanks for and we are just getting started. God has been doing some incredible stuff in the hearts of our youth, our leaders, and our families. We want to celebrate all the good stuff that has happened before we take a break. Bring $5 with you on May 17th (Wed) 6:30-8:45pm *Note the earlier time* Come for an incredible night of dinner, worship, reflecting, and laughter.
God has blessed us and called us once again to head to Mexico for an incredible opportunity to serve. This year we will be building homes for families in need. Working with Amor ministries, will we head to Tijuana, Mexico, stay in a tent city, and build an entire home in 3 days! This is an incredible opportunity for us to serve with hard work and truly make a difference.
Going to Mexico is SAFE. We will be working with Amor Ministry, who has been serving in Mexico for decades, building homes and helping those in need. Serving in Mexico is a powerful way to get a cross-cultural mission experience and grow a heart for missions.
:: Cost and Raising Support ::
The cost per person is $225.
Everyone is also responsible for raising $200.
This will be done through Letters of Support – like real missionaries! We will lead you through this process, and even make it fun! If you raise extra it will go to help the extra costs for the trip, and for scholarships for those in need on the team.

Working on a project helps you learn and put it all together. Turn this project in, and we will be looking forward to Confirmation Sunday!
Confirmation Rehearsal and Dessert: Sat, May 20, 7:00-9:00pm
This event is just for 8th graders and their parents. We want parents to gather with us as we affirm all God is doing in the life of our Confirmation students. We share testimonies and will go over the flow for the next morning (Confirmation Sunday), celebrate the commitment, and eat dessert together!
Confirmation Sunday: Sun, May 21, 9:00 and 10:45am
We will gather together with our church family to celebrate all your hard work and commitment. 8th graders who have completed Confirmation will be honored and receive a new Bible, too! This is a day of celebration, and a day to declare to your church family that you have “confirmed” that your faith is your own.
