It’s getting real. This Thursday (July 11) at 1:00pm, our Business Minister Brent Sinclair is going to the county offices to present our site plan for approval. This is the first of many permits we will need to get approved to begin construction. This permit is the county signing off on our “footprint” for the expansion of our sanctuary, expanded parking, and a new next generation building. The Building Task Force has been working with our architect (and a surveyor) to get this site plan ready for approval, and it included many hours of meetings, work, and prayer.
Getting the permit approved means that the county has signed off on the square footage of the expansion, as well as the placement of the buildings and expansion. The approval allows us to move forward, including taking the next step with our planning – which would be to solidify our floor plan. We have a working floor plan in place, and getting the approval allows us to finalize those plans.
We are moving forward, and we always want to move forward in prayer. For the last two Sundays, I have asked our church to be praying for July 11. At the evening service for One Day, we stood on the front law – the location of the future sanctuary expansion – and prayed together for those who, in the future, will be worshipping in that spot. We love to pray! We are not asking God to bless our plans; we are seeking to follow His plan. Please be praying for the meeting on July 11. God is on the move!!
❤️I’m so excited!
Thanks for keeping us in the loop on the building process!
