What does Moses want more than anything as a leader? He wants to see God, and know Him more.
This chapter shows God expressing His frustration with the people – something that is common with people who are stubborn – Moses and Aaron got frustrated many times, too. God wants to communicate with the people that they need to grow more in faith, more in trust.
Moses wants to know God more – he prays to be able to see God and His glory: “Show me Your glory.” What an incredible prayer, and what incredible strength it can give us as leaders. No matter what challenge we have each day, we can have strength to move forward, and lead even the most frustrating people. It all starts with determined focus on the Lord.
