One thing I learned about life… There is no good or evil, good or bad, none of that.. There is a right and there is a wrong. Suffering is not wrong because you chose to do the thing that caused it. It’s part of life and your experience in this life and this world that you chose. Another thing, I’ve been told in my life by someone I love so very dearly that I never do anything wrong. I believe him and I believe in many of the things that you do, but with a more open and accepting mind. I live to love.. However, I could learn how to love to live as well. Maybe you should do the same.

Kyle, I agree that most suffering is caused by bad choices by us or others. But life is hard – and there is also disease and natural disasters that cause much suffering, and so bring up very hard questions about God, and life, and the meaning of it all.

I do believe there is such a thing as evil, and right and wrong. The desire to hurt others or cause suffering in others is not right; it is wrong. It is not our goal to “accept” those wrongs, or to say they don’t exist, but to work to help people who are hurting, and to protect against those who do wrong.

Thanks for your post, and for a good discussion. God bless you!

Yeah, I see where you’re coming from, Scott. Sorry I got a bit upset about this whole thing. I was at a point where I didn’t know exactly why I was making choices to act in such a manner.. Thank you as well for your wise response. It changed me for the better to think more positively about my life choices and what and how I react to things.
