Did you know that there are 250 babies born every minute?
Did you also know that God created every single one of these babies and already knows every moment of their lives?
Psalm 139:13-16 says, “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”
He loves each and every one of these babies that He designed. He has a purpose and a plan for every single one. What’s even more important to know is that He doesn’t just love the little babies the way we think of them. He loves each of us. We are His babies, His precious children that He adores.
7.75 billion of His children still here on Earth that He loves beyond measure.
He provides for us with all that we need. He cares for us when we are sick or in pain. He comforts us when we are sad. He listens to us when we are angry. He forgives us when we make mistakes. He loves us with an overwhelming, never-ending, all-encompassing love.
I remember all of this when I look into the eyes of the 2 new babies who were born into our church family this week, but I also remember this when I look at every person I see.
No matter what, God loves us. He leaves the 99 to find us and bring us back to Him. We are His precious children, continually called back to our Father.
