Joy in Giving... Really
The Bible says, “God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Cor 9:7). You may be asking, "How can I be happy to give my money away?" It starts by realizing that everything belongs to God (Psalm 24:1). We are only managers, or stewards, of all that God has given.

So when we give to God, we are really giving BACK to Him. Giving to God’s work also makes a huge difference in people's lives; it is the best way to spend what God has given us.

Giving is RESPONDING to the Lord – it is actually an act of worship!  We are thanking God for all He has given us, and for all He has done.  God puts His money and resources in our hands so that we can make a difference for Him.  God trusts us with His gifts so that our lives can be changed as we bless others.  When we do that, we become – cheerful!

At Covenant Grove Church, we have options for you to give in-person on Sundays, by mail, online, or by text. You can personally mail your gifts, or set up giving through your bank (mail to Covenant Grove Church, 4825 Roselle Ave, Modesto, CA 95357). Online giving can also be set up through your bank, or you can use our online giving system; this is done by check (which has the least amount of online fees), by debit card, or by credit card. See below for text giving.

And don’t forget, you are not giving TO Covenant Grove, you are giving to God THROUGH Covenant Grove – as we do the work of the Kingdom together!
