Uganda
July 2025
Last month, our team (Sarah Benevides and Tony Zapata) traveled to Kampala, Uganda. After two days of travel, we joined our Ugandan brothers and sisters in worship at Watoto Church before beginning a full week of ministry.
The first few days were spent in meetings and preparing supplies. At Owino Market (the largest wholesale market in East Africa), we purchased bulk food and together with local volunteers, packed hundreds of bags of beans, rice, flour, and sugar for distribution.
We then spent several days in diverse ministries: visiting a small church on the outskirts of Kampala, delivering food and clothing to the Uganda Cancer Institute, and meeting with local leaders who encouraged and partnered with us. We ended our time at Lake Victoria, where we were even greeted by monkeys outside our restaurant, a fun and memorable close to a powerful week of ministry.
Thank you for your prayers and support. This week of global ministry was a powerful testimony of God’s love in action!
Mexico
Coming in 2026
Looking ahead, we are excited to share that next year we will continue our global outreach through intergenerational ministry in Mexico. This will be a time for families and individuals of all ages to serve together, building relationships across generations while sharing the love of Christ. More information to come!
