Part of every believer's transformation journey is moving beyond themselves to share the truth of Jesus with the world. Whether in your neighborhood, workplace, community center, or beyond the borders of your home country, you are part of God's mission!
This July, a team from Covenant Grove will travel to Saltillo, Mexico, to serve alongside our sister church, Iglesia de Dios en San Ángel. Together we'll encourage one another, build lasting relationships, and share the love of Jesus in practical ways.
Throughout the week, our team will partner with the local church through children's ministry, community outreach, worship, fellowship, and service projects. As we serve, we'll also have the opportunity to learn from the faith, generosity, and hospitality of our Mexican church family. We believe God uses these partnerships to transform everyone involved—both those who go and those who welcome us.
You can be part of this mission, too. Whether you pray for the team, give financially, or encourage those who are serving, you are helping strengthen this growing partnership and advance God's Kingdom. Please join us in praying for our team, for Iglesia de Dios en San Ángel, and for the relationships God will continue to grow long after the trip is over.
Go. Love. Serve.

Global
A few short weeks ago I traveled to India with 3 other women. It was a humbling experience to sit alongside a few of the widows of India (called Maas), as they shared glimpses of their stories, struggles and hope. The most impactful moments for me were being welcomed into these women’s home with such honor and generosity. Those images continue to bring a smile to my face. They shared that they know they are not forgotten and they are loved by Jesus! Their resilience and warmth has left a lasting impression on my heart.
Local
As followers of Jesus, we’re all called to go and share His love. At Covenant Grove, we live that out by walking alongside people in our community and beyond. Our next steps start locally: keep loving our neighbors through volunteering at the Gospel Mission’s monthly kids’ birthday celebrations, supporting the Chemo Crew, volunteering at Modesto Pregnancy Center, Night to Shine, and practicing everyday mission by building genuine relationships with co-workers and neighbors, loving others as Christ loves us. We’re also looking outward: if you’ve felt a tug toward short-term missions, I’ll be in Mexico October 24–27 meeting with churches and ministries we may partner with as a church family, and I’m praying over additional international trips in the future. If you’re interested in serving locally or exploring a trip, reach out, we are here to help you find a next step that fits your gifts.
