Covenant Grove Church Family,
We are at an incredible crossroads. God has continued to grow our church, and we are running out of space. New people visit our church every single week. Our sanctuary is full and our Kids Ministry classrooms are packed. Yet we are not done reaching out! We will do anything (other than sin) to reach out to lost people and invite them into a loving church family.
We have a great problem on our hands – we are running out of space! It is time to build. We need a larger sanctuary (seating for 300-400), more classrooms and space for next-generation ministry, and expanded parking. This would allow Covenant Grove to continue the mission that the Lord has given us. So many people’s lives have been transformed, and God is just getting started with us.
I love that I get to be part of a church that lives beyond itself. We are faith-filled, prayer-led, big-thinking risk takers! We will take 10% of the money raised and use it towards funding a church plant out of Covenant Grove, as well as a national or international mission project.
This is a special season, and I am so thankful to be here to see all that God will do. Covenant Grove will expand our facilities, a new church will be planted, a mission project will be blessed, and hope will grow. Lives are going to be changed! Please join me in prayer, help out where you can, and consider how the Lord is asking you to contribute sacrificially to His mighty work.
What is the Building Hope Initiative?
Since moving into our facility three years ago, we have grown from 175 to 350 in average attendance, with three services and an overflow space each Sunday. Lives have been transformed, the next generation is being reached, leaders have been raised up, and ministries have been expanded. As we look to the future, we are ready to expand our facilities to facilitate expanded ministry. We will again have to risk big and sacrifice much to live out the mission God has given us. We don’t only want to build a facility; God is calling us to build HOPE.
“The God of heaven will give us success. We, His servants, will rise up and build.” Nehemiah 2:20

Creative Giving Strategies
Deciding what and how much to give is a choice to be made between God, you, and your family. All things belong to God and He wants us to use wisely what He has given. Prayerfully consider what God would have you give. The following list may generate some creative ideas for giving.
GIFTS IN KIND/APPRECIABLE ASSETS:
Transferring ownership of stocks, bonds, real estate, automobiles, etc. Tax codes are generous towards this form of giving. Giving the asset to the church, then allowing the church to sell eliminates potential capital gains taxes and can increase the after-tax proceeds, providing significant tax savings.
INCOME-PRODUCING ASSETS:
Interest Income, payments from rental properties, or monies from other income-producing assets provide sources of increased giving.
SALE OF ASSETS:
Sales of major assets such as a house, car, land, or business provide sources of increased giving.
INCOME RAISES/BONUSES/TAX RETURNS:
Donating raises, bonuses, and tax returns are also avenues to increased giving.
FREEDOM FROM DEBT:
As debt obligations are fulfilled, additional revenue may become available for increased giving.
UNIQUE SKILLS INCOME/SPECIAL SALES:
You may have marketable hobbies or skills, which enable you to give from those profits. Or, maybe you can hold a garage sale and donate the proceeds to the Building Hope Initiative.
GIVE UP SOME LUXURIES:
Lifestyle adjustments can help make extra money available to give to the Building Hope initiative. Consider canceling magazine subscriptions and frequent trips for coffee, or scaling back on entertainment and eating out.
