The goal of our capital initiative is to raise prayer and funds for expanded facilities and mission. Our plan is to double our square footage, including a sanctuary that can seat 400 and space for kids and youth. We started last year, and year one has been incredible! Our church has grown both spiritually and numerically. More people are serving, connecting in Life Groups, reading their Bibles, and giving than ever before. Our attendance has grown, and we now average 375 people every Sunday (up by 50 people from two years ago and 200 from five years ago). We have over $1.1 million pledged, and over $580,000 received! 10% of all funds will go for church planting and missions.
It is with great excitement that we begin year two of Building Hope. This year, the focus is on GROUNDWORK. In Mark 4:20, Jesus said, “The seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!” Before construction can begin, the ground must be prepared to carry a heavier load. This is true for the physical buildings—and for ministry. The Holy Spirit is leading us deeper so that more lives can be transformed. There are three areas of needed groundwork:
- Deeper prayer and time in God’s word
- Stronger spiritual contributions of time and talent
- Growing financial generosity for God’s work
“The God of heaven will give us success. We, His servants, will rise up and build.” Nehemiah 2:20

How Can I Give?
Follow the link below to give to the Building Hope Initiative. Select give to Building Fund.
Deciding what and how much to give is a choice to be made between God, you, and your family. All things belong to God and He wants us to use wisely what He has given. Prayerfully consider what God would have you give. The following list may generate some creative ideas for giving.
GIFTS IN KIND/APPRECIABLE ASSETS:
Transferring ownership of stocks, bonds, real estate, automobiles, etc. Tax codes are generous towards this form of giving. Giving the asset to the church, then allowing the church to sell eliminates potential capital gains taxes and can increase the after-tax proceeds, providing significant tax savings.
Interest Income, payments from rental properties, or monies from other income-producing assets provide sources of increased giving.
SALE OF ASSETS:
Sales of major assets such as a house, car, land, or business provide sources of increased giving.
INCOME RAISES/BONUSES/TAX RETURNS:
Donating raises, bonuses, and tax returns are also avenues to increased giving.
FREEDOM FROM DEBT:
As debt obligations are fulfilled, additional revenue may become available for increased giving.
UNIQUE SKILLS INCOME/SPECIAL SALES:
You may have marketable hobbies or skills, which enable you to give from those profits. Or, maybe you can hold a garage sale and donate the proceeds to the Building Hope Initiative.
GIVE UP SOME LUXURIES:
Lifestyle adjustments can help make extra money available to give to the Building Hope initiative. Consider canceling magazine subscriptions and frequent trips for coffee, or scaling back on entertainment and eating out.
