Modesto Covenant, Covenant Grove, and Radiant Covenant are gathering together this August for a conference on God's heart for mission - reaching lost people, serving needs, and a global vision. We have invited three gifted guest speakers to share with us.
The Missio Conference’s name references the Latin theological term, “Missio Dei,” which means “the mission of God.” We believe that God is on a mission to reconcile the world to Himself in Christ. Not only that, we believe God invites us to be a part of this beautiful story He is writing through Jesus Christ. This gathering is about creating space for the Holy Spirit to speak to us, refresh us, and send us once again. This is a place for ANYONE who longs to hear how and where they fit in God’s mission.
This year’s focus is “United in the Mission of God”. Modesto Covenant, Covenant Grove, and Radiant Covenant will join together and explore the heart of God for the city, the lost, and the world. Each session will include a time of worship and teaching on God’s mission and our place in it. We’ll also create some space to reflect and discuss what we hear God saying to us.
There will be three plenary sessions (Friday Evening, Saturday Morning, Saturday Evening) that will include worship, teaching, and a time of reflection.
